This timely classic 1959 Shepherd 16' Runabout, manufactured by Shepherd Boats, is presented for the local collector. The Shepherd is here in our showroom and available for viewing. Once viewed, you will agree that she could use some restoration work to get her back to her former glory. This runabout's layout is uncomplicated with a rear bench and two chair-style seats forward for the passenger and driver. The helm is simple and easily operated with her original gauges and steering wheel. Additionally, a glove compartment is molded into the wooden dash, giving accessible storage right at your fingertips.
Additionally, the 16' runabout comfortably seats 5 people with the engine compartment completely aft. Also, her power is provided by her original 1959 Chrysler Marine Engine. This little runabout is assertive for her age, with 205 Hp. propelling her with ease. Her deck is beautifully fore and aft planked of mahogany with traditional white seams, brightly varnished over. This antique would be a great showpiece, perfect for scenic cruises around the lake or would also work well as a classy river boat with its deep-V design. Additional options that come with this 1959 Shepherd 16' Runabout include the following;
- 2 Bumpers
- 2 Dock Lines
- Paddle
- Canvas Cover
- Original Sea-Echo Horn (mounted)
- This Vessel Does NOT Come With a Trailer.
