The 1971 Jespersen 40' Trawler is a solid built masterpiece by the Jespersen Boat Builders in Victoria, BC. Inspired by the iconic Ed Monk designs, this vessel has a spacious and comfortable cabin which makes a perfect weekend cruiser or long adventure liveaboard.
The Original Owner cherished her for an impressive 38 years and one day, spending an awe-inspiring 25 summers cruising the West Coast of Vancouver Island, Queen Charlottes, and taking many ventures up to Skagway, Alaska.
The Jespersen 40' Trawler is known for its exceptional stability even in the roughest seas. With stabilizers that effortlessly correct a 35-degree roll in high seas to just 5 degrees allowing you to cruise with confidence.
Crafted with attention to detail, the sturdy hull is constructed of mahogany planks, reinforced with white oak ribs, and boasting an ironbark bow that runs the distance of the waterline giving the Jespersen the reputation of the 100-year hull!
This is a great boat to explore the Puget Sound or set out on a high seas adventure!

The 1971 Jespersen 40' Trawler is in amazing condition for a classic boat that's slightly over 50 years old. The interior looks amazing and would make a comfortable weekend getaway or long term liveaboard. Some of the exterior wood work can use another coat of stain but overall the boat is in great condition.
