This 2019 JP's Wooden 16' Drift Boat was carefully handcrafted by a second generation drift boat builder with the close collaboration of a metal fabrication specialist with 45 years of experience. These two carefully combined two disciplines of construction and a 40 year friendship. This boat is a piece of are, combining old school wood craftsmanship with durable aluminum fixtures. Untold hours were spent to finish this project. The end result is a stunning example of a fishable boat for the purist. Floors and seats create alternative options for river or lake fishing. Jp has fished for a decade on south coastal rivers and states that this boat rows better than his Willie or Pavati owned previously. The next owner will have a beautiful one-off boat that will be the envy of his or her fellow fishermen. Made with Hondurus Mahogany, Port Orford White Cedar and White Oak. The bottom is 1/2" thick with 1/4" sides and 1" floor boards. Anchor box is aluminum with a custom anchor rope release. The seat rails, rowing seat frame are also aluminum.
