Classic 1968 Monk 44 - Clean Live-aboard - Puerto Panasco Mexico - Near Phoenix and Tuscon, AZ
This beautiful classic Monk was custom made in Gig Harbor, WA and constructed with Yellow Cedar, White Oak, and Mahogany. It sports wood rails and brass stanchions and has a large covered back deck. This will make a great live-aboard, as that has been its use for about 20 years with the current owners. The main cabin sports a queen bed, and the salon has a queen sized sofa sleeper. The galley dinette was converted to an office that could easily be converted back and accommodate another double berth for a total sleeping capacity of 6.
It is powered with twin 453 Natural Detroit diesel engines, Velvet Drive transmissions with hydraulic assist controls, and bronze props.
Enter the spacious salon through the double doors from the covered back deck, and enjoy the view through the very large windows, equipped with covers while in port. Continue down to the well-equipped galley that was updated about 20 years ago.
Anchor a ease in your favorite spot with the Murray Windlass and 250 feet of chain.
The vessel is equipped with old but functional electronics that include dual VHF radios, two GPS systems, and a depth sounder. There is a 6.5 kw Northern Lights generator in the lazarette.
While we will always attempt to provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market, during any purchase from Pop you will be encouraged to schedule an inspection from an independent, accredited surveyor and every purchase WILL ALWAYS BE subject to your satisfaction with the results from your independent survey and your own personal trial run.
We have several more Chris-Craft, Marine Trader, and Grand Banks vessels for sale. If you're in the Ajo, Sells, Santa Rosa, or Pisinemo areas, please contact us to let us know what you're looking for and we'll get back with you today about any other antique boat options we have locally that may meet your needs.

*Estimated APR, or Annual Percentage Rate, is the annual cost of the loan, which includes other charges and fees. Actual rate and term can vary depending on credit history, collateral type, age of collateral, loan amount, loan term, loan to value, vessel registration type (LLC/Trust), state of residency and other criteria. Rates and terms may vary and are subject to change without notice. Credit score can vary depending on the credit reporting agency.
