Sail the Gulf of Maine and beyond with this classic 1979 Southern Cross.
A variety of sails will get you through most any wind. There is a 20 HP Vetus diesel engine to help you along.
The heavy 7-ton displacement will keep you sturdy on the sea. Exterior trim is teak and mahogany, interior trim is Mahogany. Full keel with keel hung rudder and tiller combo.
In total, 130 boats were built between 1976 and 1987, of which a number were sold as hull and deck kits.
This boat was built in Rhode Island By CE Ryder who built it with a fiberglass hull.
SI-TEX Colormax 11 chart plotter is included.
The cockpit is small, suitable for the ocean.

Hull is power washed at the end of the season and freshly painted prior to going back in the water. The mast is stored in a garage. The owner states they have had this Southern Cross since 1979!
