$11,500!!!! She has got to go! This is not a project boat. The person who purchases my boat will have no problems driving her away and travel no less than 60 miles per day. I know because I drove her from the marina to behind my home.

I have a 1985 Bertram 28 - Twin inboard 5.7 Mercruisers with Borg Wagner Velvet Drives
I purchased this Bertram in the summer of 2018. The boat was running when I bought it, but it needed a few things like seals and carbs, so I had the engines pulled.
While engines were out, I had the oil pump and water pumps changed, and also changed trans coolers and 1 of the heat exchangers. Along with this engine work I had both engines cosmetically cleaned and the engine bays painted.
Very few hours since the risers and exhaust manifolds were changed.
The bottom is maintained monthly with a service.
The cabin is in good shape but could use some sprucing up. The original refrigerator needed to go and was replaced with a smaller fridge/freezer. I also installed a new 16,000 BTU Webasto A/C unit under the salon seat. The a/c will run on a Honda 2000 portable generator. The original gas stove is still in the boat; however, that does not work.
It has a new head - Raritan SeaEra Toilet
that's installed and a pair of brand new freshwater tanks that are in the same condition (only 1 is hooked up)
I stayed on the boat 6 weeks this past summer in St,Pete, Fl and the a/c performed wonderfully. I recently brought the boat back to my home approx. 50 miles from the marina which is where she rests today.
Both engines sing a wonderful throating song when running and are reliable and strong.
Will need a bottom job at some point, but I think I have priced it fairly in consideration. The bottom is cleaned by the diver monthly, and I have a video of the bottom before and after cleaning.
You might ask why I am selling my Bertram…well, I simply don’t use her, and it's time to pass the torch. My hard work hours on this girl will give someone a great boat to get into with a small amount of money, which will afford changes you may want to make.
