Please note this is an internet stock photo of the same boat - the boat is currently in indoor heated storage and I will post photos of the actual boat as soon as I have it (boat will be taken out of storage the last week of April). The actual boat is the exact same model and color and looks virtually identical to the one pictured. The only difference is we have a ShoreLand'r tralier that is different from the trailer pictured.
This boat has been in my family since 2004 and it has been meticulously cared for for the past 20 years. We recently upgraded to a larger boat for Lake Michigan boating and are going to be very sad to see it go, but there is not room in the budget for multiple boats.
It has always been stored in heated indoor storage during the winter, and for the past several years has been drystacked during the boating season, so it has been stored indoors year-round.
List of recent maintenance / upgrades:
- Engine oil, filter, and gear lube changed every year (last changed in November 2023 before storage, so boat is ready to go for the 2024 season)
- New fuel filters November 2023
- New engine impeller November 2023
- Engine tune up and professional 40 point check November 2023
- New bilge pump November 2023
- New horn air compressor November 2023
- Gelcoat buffed June 2023
- Stern drive pulled, serviced, aligned May 2023
- Teak refinished/oiled July 2022
- Flame arrestors cleaned May 2022
- New zinc anodes May 2022
- New enginge thermostat and housing May 2022
- New cap and rotor and spark plugs August 2021
- New battery May 2021
Issues to be aware of:
- The fish/depth finder needs to be repaced. I haven't replaced it because we haven't needed one for the boating we do.
- The plastic end of the outdrive trim switch broke off, so the switch is shorter than it should be but still works fine.
- The fuel gauge works, but the sending unit or wiring has a slight issue where it isn't providing a constant reading, so the gauge cuts in and out constantly, but it still provides an accurate reading so I haven't bothered fixing it.
- Minor wear and tear to be expected with a nearly 40-year old boat. Some wear on the vinyl seats, carpet, and pinstriping. In my opinion, everything is in great shape for a boat its age, and we get many compliments on how nice it looks.
Includes ShoreLand'r trailer, cover, two anchors, anchor lines and dock lines, tow ropes, two props (one stainless steel prop optimized for speed and one aluminum prop with a more aggressive pitch for towing/waterskiing), fenders, throwable PFD. We will essentially just be keeping our life jackets for our new boat, but will include everything else.
