A good-selling boat for Bayliner during her decade-long production run, the 3888 Motor Yacht (called the 3780 MY from 1983-89) has long been recognized as a good value for those seeking a comfortable diesel cruiser at an affordable price. Built on a low-dead rise modified-V hull, the key feature of the 3870/3888 was her innovative mid-cabin floor plan with a double berth that extends under the salon. A lower helm in the salon, and a large master stateroom forward. There are two heads, one with a tub/shower stall.
On deck, the cockpit is large enough for a couple of deck chairs, and there is seating on the flybridge. Fuel consumption at cruising speed is about a mile per gallon, which makes the 3888 MY an extremely fuel-efficient boat.

Broker's Comments
Her interior has recently been updated with new headliner, cushions and flooring but she still needs some updates. She was tented for termites in 2023 and has a clean bill of health. There is some wood damage that should be replaced but nothing structural. Her A/C runs cold and she is started every couples of weeks.
Due to health reason, her owner is unable to use her or complete additional updates.
