2005 J Boats J/100

The J100 is arguably one of, if not the, finest sailing Daysailers ever designed.

The lore behind this design is that Bob Johnstone designed the boat for himself. He wanted a simple, well laid out, fast, stable and easy to sail boat to day sail in Maine - Crew optional. Turns out, a lot of other sailors wanted the same exact thing.

Farm Girl is an excellent example of a well maintained and upgraded J100.

Here is what the current owner has done over the past 2 years...

1. New dodger by Seafarer Canvas
2. New cushions and covers inside and cockpit by Seafarer Canvas.
3. Partial new running rigging.
4. New Doyle triradial 100% jib and triradial main. Technora laminate fabric. 1.5 seasons old.
5. New main sail cover.
6. Two new group 37 AGM batteries.
7. Two new flexible solar panels with charge controllers.
8. New Fortress anchor with rope and chain rode.
9. Engine professionally maintained with fuel and oil filters, raw water impeller, saildrive oil, and zincs replaced each season.
