2008 Bayliner 192 Discovery series cuddy cruiser with Mercruiser inboard/outboard, and Karavan single-axle folding-tongue bunk trailer. Valued at $15,300; price will occasionally be reduced until sold. Regularly maintained with receipts since ownership, Oct 2014. Boat is in excellent condition with a 9+ out of 10 rating. 23 gal tank; I use ethanol-free gas so no carb gumming. Sleeps two adults (the berth is not for tall people) with storage under v-berth cushions; seven-person capacity with seating for 5 in the cockpit. Rear seats elevate to create a sunning platform. Self-bailing cockpit. Perfect for lakes and tubing, skiing, etc, but also good for nearshore/coastal boating with its higher freeboard. It is a great fresh and salt water boat. Boat cruises efficiently at approx 30 mph/3400 rpm, but goes much higher at WOT. I am the second owner and have clean titles for boat and trailer and current registrations. I have all receipts for maintenance work. Includes a full tank of ethynol-free gas! Offer is cash only, or cashier’s check—both payable at my local bank.
Specs: overall length19’4” (motor down) and with trailer 21’9” when tongue is folded to the side; beam 7’11”; dry weight 2515 lbs and with trailer 3365 lbs; max draft 2’11”
Manuals for: Bayliner Discovery runabouts (for all series); Mercruiser motor operations/maintenance; Sport Boat manual for recreational boats; Karavan trailer; Eagle fishfinder; Lenco trim tabs.
Misc: Motor oil; lower unit oil; random orbital waxer, extra pads, and waxes; and some cleaner
My pricing formula is based on JD Powers estimate, and added some depreciated costs of improvements made or gear bought. I did not include any costs for replacement parts or repairs, since that is just part of owning a boat.
I take care of this boat with special care after saltwater immersion, using CRC Salt Terminator flushing for the motor. I hose the trailer and the crossbars with internal wash holes. I fully winterize on my own or if I run out of time, have Kitsap Marina do it. Everything is removed for the winter and kept in my garage. I do the casual maintenance, eg, lower unit oil change, etc.
Trailer is in great condition with no noticeable rust: great tires; LED lights; foldable tongue; Fulton HD jack (that winds faster than traditional jacks); trailer guide-on posts; stern safety ratchet straps; includes wood blocking to take pressure off jack when being stored. All these, except foldable tongue, were added under my ownership.
I have a couple towable toys if interested at additional costs: One is a 1 to 3-person couch-style towable with handles, and the other is a wedge-shaped disk that can accommodate 1 to 2 persons and is more of a challenge for the riders. Towing them together provides some crashing excitement! Includes a blower motor that plugs into the boat.

Sleeps two adults (the berth is not for tall people) with storage under v-berth cushions; seven-person capacity with seating for 5 in the cockpit.
Mechanical Equipment
Mercruiser 4.3 L, 190 hp, intake water-cooled. Original owner cracked engine block over 2013/2014 winter, had it rebuilt in mid-2014 before I bought it (I have receipts for that work too). Had hour meter installed by Kitsap Marina in Dec 2014 and it currently reads 144.4 hours (they also documented hours on any invoices for work they did). Has a blower for pre-start.
Includes Mercury 4-stroke 6 hp kicker and bracket. I run the motor regularly to keep seals lubed and store it indoors year-round, except when out in Puget Sound. Motor has been run a total of approx 1.5 hours more for keeping it fresh, otherwise I have had no regular use for it.
Deck and Hull Equipment
Came to me with: Snap-on cockpit cover; Eagle fishfinder; unused porta-potty with parts still in wrapping; extra props; twin steering EZ link (quick connects); bilge pump; rod holders and Scotty downrigger mounts, prop wrench; stern swim step and drop-down ladder, and bow ladder.
Additional Equipment
Add-ons since my ownership include: Lenco 9 x 7” e-trim tabs and tactile switch (major improvement in handling); came with a single bimini top, but now has option for single or double bimini top; custom-made square camper back with isinglass zipper panels (each panel is removeable and they are stored meticulously); Keel shield; skeg guard; battery switch and extra battery; buoys/docklines, fluke anchor and chain/line; and mirror.
For winterization: Custom-made full winter (and traveling) cover made of Sharkskin-brand HD fabric; bow kit with fiberglass spring rods to shed snow/rain; poles to support shedding snow/rain; winter flush kit; Boeshield engine spray (what pros use); fogging oil; lower unit gear pump kit; gas transfer pump; electric air circulator/dehumidifier.
