Lady Heron is a 36’ Gaff Rig Sloop back from 5 years of constant liveaboard cruising from Texas to the Florida Keys, Carribean, Exuma's and Bahamas. This Bruce Roberts design of sturdy build and rugged design that can handle the seas that Mother Nature offers. She has no thru-hulls and her hull is in great condition. She is a strong, stable vessel with 3’ wide side decks. What I really like about her is she has no cockpit. She is the same level on deck stem to stern, like a little ship. She has a brand new battery bank which supplies the DC and inverter for A/C., charged by two 145W solar panels. She has a Garmin chart plotter w/AIS, CPT auto pilot and plenty of ground tackle (two 45lb Claw anchors, 200’ 3/8” chain in the fore foot and 60’ 3/8” chain & 100’ ¾” nylon rode for everyday anchoring). Her auxiliary power is two 20hp 4 stroke Tohatsu outboards that are on tracks and can be lifted out of the water for reduced drag. Sails are 536 sq ft mainsail & Jib in Good condition.
