2018 Lagoon 40

Ready to untie the lines! Cruising catamaran perfect for a couple or young family. Shenanigans is a 2018 Lagoon 40 catamaran outfitted with a handsome Offshore Cruising Tender. Original owners and never chartered, she’s spent her time on the Chesapeake Bay, New England and the Bahamas. Meticulously maintained and fully loaded with all the cruising comforts to facilitate life on the hook for extended periods of time. Mast height is 60.5 feet which makes this boat ICW friendly and easily navigated along the coast. Boat was professionally washed, compounded, polished, and ceramic coated in February 2025.

Sailing features include a square top main sail, self-tacking jib, code zero, spinnaker w/ATN sock, upgraded dyneema main sail and spinnaker halyards, and a downhaul for added safety lowering the mainsail. Brand new sail bag (2025).

Shenanigans has upgraded 45hp engines and a Fischer Panda generator. She is outfitted with a full suite of Victron products including 1000 Ah of lithium batteries, 1100 watts of solar and custom arch, Cerbo GX, and Quattro 5000 inverter. Starlink mounted on the starboard solar arch with fully enclosed cabling and modem installed in the cabin below.

The three cabins and 2 heads are decorated with an upgraded elegance line and Corian countertops. The salon includes easy to maintain marine grade seating, perfect for those hot days in the water and easily repels suntan lotion! The salon table has air adjusted pedestal legs that allow the table to readily be dropped for extra guests or for overnight passages so that captain or crew are close by as needed. Second interior B&G Zeus 3 chart plotter and autopilot remote control round out the interior capabilities that allow for easy sailing from inside the salon. HVAC units for cooling, heating and dehumidifier in salon and cabins. Hot water element has a dedicated breaker and can be powered from the battery bank/inverter.

Galley is outfitted for either electric or propane cooking depending on your preference and includes microwave, fridge and upgraded Vitrifrigo 2 drawer freezer. Fridge and freezer are powered from separate circuits which provides flexibility in managing power supply for refrigeration needs. Corian countertops round out the upgrades to the galley. CruiseRO water maker runs on inverter, 120v generator, or shorepower and comes with a spare set of membranes and assorted piping/valve spares.

The aft cockpit includes teak flooring in excellent condition, an upgraded teak table and cushions, and extra outdoor 12v outlets for an electric cooler, phone charging or other electrical needs. A full canvas enclosure and custom screens makes this space very comfortable for outdoor living. Sunbeds for the bow, roof mounted rack for fishing and other sporting gear, magma grill, and magma paddleboard rack round out the fully outfitted outdoor living space.

Shenanigans has an Offshore Cruising Tender and 9.8hp Tohatsu outboard. She also has a hoist that allows the outboard to easily be raised and stored on the stern rail during ocean passages.

Mantus M2 55lb anchor with swivel, large mantus bridle, and sea water washdown pump round out the ground tackle and anchoring set up. Navigation lights have been upgraded to include bow mounted red/green, a stand-alone white stern light, and mast mounted steaming light. Custom fitted jacklines on the bow and roof deck add to the safety features for offshore sailing. Life raft and EPIRB included. Beautiful, brand new trampoline from Multihull nets rounds out the great safety features typically not available on a 40ft boat!

Located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She is fully commissioned and ready to go on her next adventure. Will negotiate all onboard accessories including Dometic 12v freezer/fridge, Sailrite (purchased in 2023), paddleboards, spare hand held VHF radios, diesel/gasoline/water jerry cans, hand-held lanterns/lighting and SENA headsets.
